Server Panic

Postby sisao » 13 Dec 2012, 15:45

Hi all,

i have recently notice via the OSX Client that the cloud based folders often are marked with a red square and the client reports "Server Panic". Any idea of what that is? I have recently installed a few spaces to a Personal Server so i had to deal with the client a little bit (latest version) and noticed that, but maybe the problem was there even before.

Apparemtly i have malfunctioning or data loss, the problem just goes away by itself...i have screenshots in the case.

Thanks!

It just means there's no connection to the server at the moment. There's actually no real panic. It's only a message.

I see that often on my iOS device.
It been quite a worry - if it is really just a transitory connectivity issue,
then I suggest changing the message. It doesn't look good to a user testing
the service to see many "Server Panic" messages.

Good to know anyway! :D I'll just ignore the issues as it is.
Thanks.

PS:
Indeed a different error message would "scare" a little bit less than that! :D

How frequently you receive this message is relative to your internet connection or how your TDPS is configured.
