HiddenFolder to SharedFolder

I just found TeamDrive today. It was nearly exactly what i searched for.( I think there should be an option to store the data uncryptet on the WebDav server).
So i set up an webDav on my own server. Everything was up an running in around 10minutes. Now i want to realy use TD, but i found out, i cant sync Folders which are named .foo. At the beginning i wanted to sync my whole home folder, but i saw that there are no ignore rules( need this for music and film folder coz they should not be synced). So i tried to choos every folder i wanted to be synced, but when i choose hidden folders like .foo it just says invalid pathName.
Any plans to make it possible to sync hidden folders?
