Installation Start Ubuntu

Hi,

I would like to install TeamDrive-2.1.138-Linux-x86-Install_TMDR on my Ubuntu 8.10 machine. I installed Wine long before and the system wants to open the Team... file with the Wine application what makes no sense and delivers no result btw.

I cannot open the file with Synaptic because ??? maybe because the file doesn't end with .deb or so.

Sorry, I'm not a Linux hero. What to do?

Hi,

this installer needs execue permissions. To do this, right-click on it and choose "Properties", then click on the "Permissions" tab and add execute permissions.

Then you shuld be able to start the installer.

Thank your for your quick response!

I opened the properties dialog and checked the box "Datei als Programm ausführen." (make file executable).

It works now.
