find overwritten files for restore?

Postby ictdv » 01 Nov 2013, 19:30

Is there an easy way to identify files which are now older than their latest version in teamDrive?

We accidentally overwrote our shared teamDrive Space when a zip of the space was unzipped, so files modified since the zip was created have been reset to an older state.

I can manually identify the files by looking at the latest version date in the GUI and comparing the current timestamp with the timestamp of the last version. Is there a way to extract the count of the # of versions for all files, and their timestamps? If so I can write a script to go through and identify files which need to be restored.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

thanks.

So when you unzipped the file it replaced the files in the Space with the same files but older versions of the files?

If that's the case then the new version should still be in the version tree with it's version date. Just set it as the latest version. You can also open them.

You cannot extract the version tree and put it into a script.
