ZFS file system support

Postby nidi » 03 Dec 2018, 22:18

It looks like I cannot enable my spaces due to the use of ZFS. It took me quite a while to understand that this is the issue at hand, by searching for "The volume is unknown" / "Laufwerk ist unbekannt" and finding related threads in the forum. A clearer error message, e.g. "The file system on which `/home/bla/blub` lives is not supported" would be useful.

The unsupported super magic for ZFS is: 0x2fc12fc1.

Is there any way to work around that issue? Also: Can you add support for ZFS? Thanks :)

FYI: This happens using the headless agent in my case, but probably this doesn't matter.

Thanks, Nicolas (from UEF).

While at it, you *may* also want to add tmpfs 0x1021994 to the list of supported file systems. This would have helped me as a workaround as I don't need any local persistant data in this case on the server anyway.
