HTTPS Access

Postby cweinandt » 20 Nov 2009, 09:47

Working under OpenSuse11.1 I noticed that the access to the server only uses HTTP - what about HTTPS access to provide encryption during transfers over the net?

Hi Chris,

TeamDrive uses HTTP to communicate with our own HTTP-Server. It is no encryption necessary because no readable data is transferred. No Passwords or Usernames are inside the Requests.

If TeamDrive uses a WebDAV-Server you can use HTTPS to protect your logindata if you have a licence. Without a licence TeamDrive uses HTTP.

Best regards
