Command Line Tools

Postby wagnbeu0 » 12 Jun 2014, 09:19

Hi, i have a personal server running at home - works perfect.
Now I want to save the backup of my lokal spaces to the webspace I have on the teamdrive cloud.
Is there any command line interface I can use in a cronjob for that? My server is running without X11 so the usual client is not working there...

You can try using the TeamDrive Agent Client. It's a TD Client that can run without a GUI. Which operating system are you running?

It is a Raspian Linux 7, running on a Rasperry Pi:

uname -a: Linux PRINTSRV 3.10.25+ #622 PREEMPT Fri Jan 3 18:41:00 GMT 2014 armv6l GNU/Linux
cat /etc/issue: Raspbian GNU/Linux 7 \n \l

Hi, I was testing the Teamdrive Agent today, on a Windows operating system. Seem to work, BUT:
Is it possible to have a system wide tray icon to see if the agent od doing anything or not?

I did not get any icon so i never knew if there are uploads/downloads in progress ...

No, it is not. The Agent is designed to run in the background as a service. For that you would need to install and run the TeamDrive client.
