If you would like to save a DocsToGo document you just created please skip to step 3

Step 1:
Open TeamDrive, select the document you wish to open and open it in TeamDrive. After the document is open in TeamDrive, press the ‘share’ button. From there, select “Open in...” and select “Open in DocsToGo”.

Step 2:
By now the document should have already opened in DocsToGo.

After you are done editing the file press the ‘share’ button.
You will then see the options “Save”, “Save As”, “Send” and “Open In…”.

Step 3:
Select “Save”. DocsToGo will notify you that the document is read-only and any changes must be saved under a new file name. Press “OK”.

You will then see the options “Discard Changes”, “Save" (remember this will not work because the file is read-only), and “Save As”. Select “Save As” (alternatively, you can select “Save As” directly from the ‘share’ button’) and enter a filename (the default filename given is the easiest to use if you want to save the file as a new version in TeamDrive).

Step 4:
After naming the file you should be automatically taken to DocsToGo’s “Documents” window. If this does not happen automatically just navigate back to the “Documents” window. Open the file from there.

Once the file is open, press the ‘share’ button.

Select “Open In…” and “Open in TeamDrive”.

Step 5:
From there you will be taken back to TeamDrive.
TeamDrive will display the options to “Upload As New File” or “Upload As New Version”.

If you are uploading the document as a new file, all you need to do is navigate to the Space you want to save the document in and press “Select”.
If you want to save a new version of a file it is EXTREMELY important that you navigate to the correct ORIGINAL file and save the new version over it. Once you have found the file and selected it, press “Select”. Your new version should now be saved and synced.
