open excel file in webclient

Hi folks,
how can I open and edit excel files in the web interface without downloading them. There is no preview for office files?
I tried extensions or browser plugins without success. Do I have MS Office installed? - is there a workaround?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to edit the file directly in the browser. The file must be downloaded, edited and then uploaded.
